The first to survive
On May 28th 2020, the province of Trapani completed the two cycles of 14 days with no new
infections. According to this result, we could declare the local epidemic ended (according
to criteria established by OMS). Even during the second wave, the epidemic affected western
Sicily in a secondary way compared to other areas of the country. In Favignana, during the
first cycle, there have been no cases. Thanks to its inhabitants' sense of civic duty and
local authorities' ability to choose the correct procedures in order to isolate Favignana
from the world.
Favignana, contagious beauty
Among the most important preventative measures in order to avoid the infection and/or limit
the probabilities of contracting the virus, there is the prohibition of assemblage, that is
avoiding too many people are close to each other in a delimited area, even on the beaches.
PTo avoid assemblage, Favignana is the suitable destination. The island allows to share
along the coastline, almost completely swimming. You will always find your rock and/or your
place on the beach far away from other people.

In 2020 and 2021, thanks to our commitment, we were able to guarantee our guests peaceful and safe
holidays. Also in 2022 we will ensure the same effort and the same engagement.
Thanks to the structure's natural characteristics (independent apartments, open-door common
spaces, access road and a large parking), Nido del Pellegrino is naturally suitable to
guarantee safety.
However, according to national guide lines, we will continue to take additional measures in
order to make your holiday safe.
